Second natures
In these latest works, logos, virtual elements, matter, and
reproduction merge into a series of hybrid compositions, where
painting engages with the grainy and unsettling textures of
screenshots and digital collages (made on the
phone). Through these intersecting assemblages, I fragment and
recompose images from my digital archive, while the painterly
intervention completes their meaning by connecting or erasing their
features.
The distinction between object and reproduction, natural and
artificial, true and false dissolves, converging into solutions that
transcend the boundary between digital and analog.
