Origins of the villain


The repetition of the same form on the surface was the medium for the development of these paintings. The deconstruction and recomposition of form not only allows a short-circuit between form and representation to be represented, but also to organise independent systems that develop independently of the original subjects. In these latest works, the forms have returned to a more primitive state, while the large formats and a reduced colour palette highlight the characteristic elements of my work: the blurring and imperfections on the surface that bring my insights into the reality of things to life.
